Country Flavored Chicken Halves
1 package 15 minute chicken marinade
1 cup of cold water
1 broiler fryer (2 1/2 to 3 pounds), cut in half
In a shallow pan, thoroughly blend chicken marinade and water. Place
well drained chicken in marinade; turn pierce all surfaces of chicken
deeply with fork. Marinade only 15 minutes, turning several times.
Remove chicken from marinade and arrange skin side up in a shallow
ungreased pan just large enough to accommodate the chicken.
Bake uncovered at 425ºF. for 45 to 55 minutes, until thoroughly cooked.
